Let’s say you’re diagnosed with arthritis.

Here are 3 tips:

Delete the word “ARTHRITIS”. and use “a health challenge instead.”  This will take the sting away. So that you can relax while dealing with the issue.

Do it NOW.

Say:

I have arthritis.

Now say:

I have a health challenge.

And notice how you feel in your head, heart and your entire being.

You do the same job. But you take the drama out of it.

Find a support group or person you can talk to about your mood without judgement.
IF you’re a caregiver (spouse, children etc.) Make sure you have time for yourself.
E.g., If your loved one is in the hospital. Only visit 4 times a week. Spend the other 3 days involved in gardening or some activity that you enjoy so that you are fully recharge and energized to serve your family.

If you need help to stop losing your anchor. Worry and be anxious every time you have a runny nose.

So that you no longer resist change and see the many opportunities to grow and expand.
